arriving in oz May 2014

So after a long flight we arrived early Saturday morning, where the sun was shining and we were greeted at the airport by David’s ‘aunty’ Doris! First stop was Henley Beach where we visited Evida for breakfast.  The sun was shining, even though it was quite chilly & we sat down overlooking the beach to pancakes! Yummm. We then took a walk along the pier and admired what would be our home for the next few weeks.

Over the few weeks spent in Adelaide, South Australia, we took walks around the city, visited Adelaide’s Central markets, met up with friends from home as they passed through on their way to Ayers Rock, visited the wine regions of the Barossa Valley & McLaren Vale, visited beautiful beaches, took a day trip to Hahndorf, took a boat trip to spot the dolphins, celebrated David’s 30th Birthday, ate lots of Haighs chocolate….the list goes on!
